Her mission is to not only help you feel better but to also give you the tools to take on your everyday physical challenges without limitations.
When Erin is not working, she is perfecting the handstand, mentoring for LaunchU, staying active with friends, finding her next favorite podcast, and counting down the days until ski and snowboard season.

Stephanie Freyre

Physical Therapist

Stephanie Freyre, PT, DPT, COMT joined the West Town PT team after leaving the warmth of Miami, Florida to take on the Windy City. Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and graduated with honors as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami.

Stephanie specializes in orthopedic injuries, sports injuries and postoperative rehabilitation and has worked with patients of all ages and skill levels. She believes in determining the foundational cause of musculoskeletal pain during an evaluation, and emphasizes education with her patients to help them gain a better understanding of their plan of care. Since graduation, she has received her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) from the Ola Grimsby Institute and her Certification in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) from the Gray Institute.

Her interest in becoming a physical therapist began when she tore her ACL, and discovered the benefits of PT first-hand. One of her favorite things about being a therapist is helping individuals regain the confidence to return to the activities they love, pain free and even better than before.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys doing anything outdoors – kayaking, biking, hiking and skiing…to name a few! If she’s not at work, there’s also a good chance she is traveling stateside or internationally with her husband Charlie. Her favorite place in the world is New Zealand (so far!).

Rachel is dedicated to providing high quality care for restoring function, fostering ability and encouraging physical activity…while still having fun.

Rachel has personally recovered from broken hand and broken ankle and is walking model of the benefits of PT. She also loves staying balanced and strong with yoga and incorporating some of the yoga foundations into her treatment plans.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys traveling, snuggling with her pup (Taco), eating her way around the city and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. As an athlete, Rachel has completed five triathlons, plays volleyball and soccer regularly and loves to commute by bike…even in the snow!
